The VLAN tag number is computed at deploy time, based on the information stored in database. This information contains only VLAN tags of Abiquo managed Virtual Machines.

It would be a good idea to check which tags are in use in the target hypervisor and choose the tag for the new Virtual Machine based on that information. This way, we could avoid deploying a virtual machine in an existing vlan not managed by abicloud

As I told you, that's a non-trivial feature. Besides check the tags available in the chosen hypervisor where to deploy, it must be synchronized with the rest of the hypervisors of the same switch/rack.

I think that must be considered after the 1.6.0 release.

By the way, it's an interesting feature.

This has been solved in 1.7 with advanced network features.

It's not exactly what you require but cover the customer needs.
