If you click on the 'Power' button on a running Virtual Appliance, the UI reports this error:

22/6/2009 19:16:06 GMT+0200: Database error
Unable to shutdown the virtual appliance.
Error Code: ABI-S008
Error ID: 004.

as a workaround, go to the Virtual Appliance editor and stop it there.

There was a problem recovering the nodes (actually machines) from the virtual appliance. After that, a NullPointerException always was thrown.
